WHAT PUZZLEMENT EXPERIENCES DOES
Customizable Trivia Nights
A full trivia night, built from scratch around your crowd, your cause, and the specific categories your people will not stop arguing about in the car on the way home.
You tell us what you are after — event type, age range, inside jokes you would like worked in, number of rounds, difficulty, tone — and we build the evening. Alex hosts in person. We can bring a scorekeeper to keep rounds clean.
Everything runs through a PowerPoint on your projector, because “can everyone in the back see the question” should never be a mystery.
Escape Adventures
Escape-room-style puzzle missions, brought to your location and built for the group in front of us.
We arrive with the puzzles, props, storyline, setup, and pacing. Your group gets to follow the clues, solve the mission, and figure out what is actually happening before time runs out.
Our pilot adventure, Angels & Alleys, draws from Acts 12. Players step into the role of angels helping Peter escape prison, working together through clues, locks, hidden details, and “wait, did anyone check that?” moments.
Puzzle
Books
Themed puzzle books for people who like their downtime quiet, clever, and actually worth opening.
These are made for the folks who love a slow Sunday, a cup of coffee, and a pencil with a good eraser. Every book centers on one theme, so the clues feel connected from the first page to the last.
Our first release will be HOLY CROSS(words): Catholic-Themed Crossword Puzzles, a full book of crosswords drawn from Catholic tradition, scripture, saints, liturgy, Church vocabulary, and everyday faith.
A Small Miracle / Same Six Letters
A SPACE is an anagram of ESCAPE
becomes
Each of these services is, at its core, a controlled rearrangement. A trivia night rearranges what your people already know into a shared win. An escape adventure rearranges a plain room into A SPACE — six letters, same as ESCAPE. We did not invent this. We just noticed. A good puzzle book rearranges a quiet afternoon into the best part of someone's week. Same pieces. Different arrangement. Different feeling in the room. That's the whole bit.
WHO WE WORK WITH
For groups that want more than another meeting, movie night, or awkward icebreaker. Our adventures turn ordinary rooms into shared experiences.
-
Parish councils, youth ministry teams, men's and women's groups, OCIA teams
-
Development staff, board event committees, community outreach teams
-
PTOs, booster clubs, staff appreciation committees
-
HR, team leads, holiday planning teams, and the one person who always ends up organizing the thing
-
Milestone birthdays, reunions, anniversary parties, and your one friend who really commits to themes
Every trivia night and escape adventure ends with prizes. You can bring your own (gift cards, gift baskets, bragging rights, a regifted crock pot — we don't judge), and we bring the signature “PUZZLEMENT EXPERIENCES WINNER” buttons. As we may have mentioned elsewhere, more of those end up on lanyards and backpacks a year later than is strictly reasonable. We're not mad about it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
For a fully custom trivia night, booking four to six weeks ahead is ideal. That gives us enough time to understand your group, build the right mix of questions, shape the theme, and make the event feel like it was created for your room.
If your date is already on the calendar, reach out as early as possible. More lead time is always helpful for retreats, corporate events, parish events, school events, fundraisers, and large group gatherings.
We can often move faster for simpler trivia nights or events with a lighter customization level. If your timeline is tight, send us the date, location, audience, and event goals. We will tell you honestly what is possible.
No fake urgency, just a clear answer on whether we can make it good in the time available.
-
Our primary focus is in-person trivia nights and live group experiences because that is where the room-wide energy really works. The side conversations, team debates, last-second guesses, and table rivalries are a big part of what makes the experience fun.
That said, some events need a virtual or hybrid option. If your group has remote team members, traveling participants, or people joining from different locations, reach out and we can talk through what might work.
Virtual trivia can be possible in the right format, but we want to make sure it still feels engaging. The goal is to create a shared experience people actually want to join.

Yes. We can travel outside Sioux Falls for trivia nights, escape adventures, retreats, church events, school events, corporate team-building, fundraisers, and other live group experiences.
To get started, share your location, event date, estimated group size, and type of event. From there, we can confirm availability, travel details, timing, setup needs, and whether the event is a good fit.
Travel is easiest to arrange when there is enough lead time, especially for events outside the immediate Sioux Falls area. If you are not sure whether your location is realistic, reach out anyway. We will give you a straight answer.

Yes. Booking more than one service can work especially well for retreats, lock-ins, conferences, parish events, school events, and full-day gatherings where you need more than one activity.
For example, an afternoon escape adventure paired with an evening trivia night gives your group two different kinds of shared experiences. The escape adventure gets people moving, solving, and working together. Trivia brings everyone back into one room for competition, laughter, and easy group energy.
This combination is a strong fit for youth retreats, church lock-ins, corporate offsites, team-building days, community events, and those “we somehow rented this venue for the whole day” situations.
If you are planning a longer event, reach out and we can help you think through the schedule, pacing, group size, and which services make the most sense together.
